The owner of Crooked Candle Bronwyn Masci donated a personalized cake from the Silent Auction for Umoja Orphanage in Kenya held last year.

There were not many opportunities in 2020 to celebrate. It was therefore not until the end of the year that club member, Lesley Woodroffe and family made use of a ‘Celebration Package’ that Lesley had purchased at a silent auction at Mitchelton Rotray Club’s Annual February fundraising dinner for the Umoja  [LW1] orphanage in Kenya.
The package included a made-to-order, decorated two tier cake donated by Bronwyn Masci of Crooked Candle. Celebrating the reunion with one daughter who had been unable to visit Queensland all year and another who had recently become engaged and also completed a university degree, the family enjoyed the delicious creation by Bronwyn, pictured here delivering the cake.
