Mitchelton Rotary Club has made a Christmas Hamper Donation to Picabeen for $2,000

Mitchelton Rotary Club has used the proceeds of our annual Christmas Raffle to donate $2,000 to Picabeen for Christmas Hampers for families in need.
We have been selling raffle tickets at the monthly Blackwood Street Markets and at Brookside Shopping Centre who have generously supported our fund-raising work.
Thanks to all our volunteers selling tickets and the community support buying our raffle tickets and for your donations.
The $2,000 cheque was presented to Jill Warren the Centre Manager from Picabeen at the recent District Governor Visit meeting of Mitchelton Rotary Club on 25th November 2025, by Club President Ian Cameron.
Our Christmas Raffle will be drawn on Tuesday 9th December 2025 , and the two prize winners will be contacted so we can deliver the two prizes.

We are currently planning our 23rd Citizenship Ceremony for Australia Day, and an International Women’s Day event on 7th March 2026 promoting Respectful Relationships and No to Domestic Violence.
