Mitchelton Rotary held their Presidency and Board changeover for 2021-2022 this week at the Arana Leagues Club,
As we thank Dean and Sandy for the exceptional leadership for the last four years we welcome Ian R as President and Ian C as Secretary.
Dean and Sandy have held the positions of Presidency and Secretary for four consecutive years and are now on a well deserved break, continuing to support the club as members, both have fulfilled their roles with dedication, focus and continued to strive toward supporting local community and international projects.
As we enter a new year and Rotary enters a new vision of 'serve to change lives' we all welcome our new President Ian R who has been a committed member for many years and has pledged to focus on membership and community. We welcome Ian C as our new secretary who again has served Mitchelton Rotary for many years and has a wealth of knowledge and commitment to water sanitation and local community. Thank you to Lesley W who in the short time with our club has risen to all occasions and will continue as our Treasurer for the next year and keep us all in line. Ralph has accepted the position again as Community Board member and we eagerly await the ideas and ceremonies that have become well recognised by many.
Mitchelton Rotary has faced many challenges throughout the last few years and without the support from not just our club members but also our local community we could not have achieved as much as we did, however difficult it was the leadership from Dean and Sandy allowed us to continue to do what we do best 'open opportunities'.
