Each year, the Rotary Club of Mitchelton coordinates the Blackwood street Halloween festival, however, in light of the current health crisis, this annual community festival, which is one of the most popular – and definitely the spookiest – events  on the northside of Brisbane has had to be postponed this year.

To all our creepy-crawly ghouls and ghosts of Mitchelton,

This year Mitchelton Rotary Club have had to make the hard choice to cancel our Mitchelton Halloween Street Festival on the 31st October. This is keeping in line with health directives, and of course planning times, as we have not been able to secure appropriate measures to ensure the safety that all our patrons are free from the Covid-19 virus. Nevertheless, this year we encourage you to keep working on all your magnificent costumes in the chase for the scariest dressed trophy! The Mitchelton Rotary will continue to run the festival the following year  and promise to bring you a bigger and better event in 2021!

We would like to thank everyone that gets behind our community event and look forward to seeing you all next year. hoping you have spooktacular Halloween !!
