Mitchelton Rotary Club raised the increased amount of $6,665, from the raffle and donations,  for Umoja Orphanage, Kenya at our Fundraiser event on 15 March 2025 at Arana Leagues Club, Keperra.
This fundraiser event would not have been possible without the support of Mitchelton Rotary Club members, our Umoja Sub-committee, Arana Leagues Club, and our sponsors:
  • Our Gold Sponsor was Denovans Real Estate, Mitchelton with a donation of $500.
  • Our Anonymous Gold Sponsor donated $500.
  • Ferny Grove State Member Mark Furner donated $80.
  • Club member Ian Ross’s gym colleagues donated $200.
Thanks to all our sponsors and all those who donated raffle prizes and our event supporters for your generosity.
I would particularly like to acknowledge the following people who attended and supported our Fundraiser event:
  • Councillor Andrew Wines, from Enoggera Ward of the Brisbane City Council who is a Club member.
  • The LNP candidate for the Federal seat of Ryan Maggie Forrest for attending and donating a hamper prize.
